IDILLA: how to plan a contemporary ceramic bathroom

IDILLA is Alice Ceramica's contemporary take on traditional ceramics: thick edges, refined details and a full range of colours. It covers the whole bathroom, with back-to-wall and wall-hung WCs and bidets, countertop basins that can sit on a ceramic framework, and two floor-standing freestanding basins. This guide explains how the pieces fit together, with the measurements from Alice Ceramica's technical sheets.

The short answer

• For a complete ceramic vanity: a countertop basin on the IDILLA ceramic columns and shelves.
• For a statement piece: the freestanding basin, closed or OPEN.
• For easy cleaning: the wall-hung WC and bidet; for a floor-standing look, the back-to-wall pair.

Choosing the WC and bidet

Sizes below are from the Alice Ceramica technical sheets (depth × width × height).

• Back-to-wall WC (48100101): 55 × 35 × 42 cm. Fix it with the FIX05F floor kit.
• Back-to-wall bidet (48110101): 55 × 35 × 42 cm, single tap hole.
• Wall-hung WC (48120101): 55 × 35 cm, 35.5 cm high. Needs an in-wall frame with a concealed cistern and the FIX10 fixing kit.
• Wall-hung bidet (48130101): single tap hole, same FIX10 kit.

Every IDILLA WC takes the IDILLA seat (MC48 series), with standard or soft-close hinges and in the same colours as the ceramics. Not sure which installation suits you? Read wall-hung vs floor-standing toilets.

Countertop basins and the ceramic framework

• Round 42 (48220101): ø 42 cm, 13 cm high
• Oval 60 × 35 (48230101): 60 × 35 cm, 13 cm high
• Square 40 × 40 (48240101): 40 × 40 cm, 13 cm high

All three can sit on a worktop, or on the IDILLA framework: a pair of ceramic columns with a pair of ceramic shelves (with one central tap hole or without). According to the technical sheet the complete structure is 88 cm wide, 50 cm deep and 80 cm high. See our countertop basin guide.

The freestanding basins

The IDILLA freestanding basin (48200101) and the OPEN version (48210101), with an open front, are both ø 46 cm and 85 cm high according to the technical sheets. Drains and siphons

Tap, drain and siphon are sold separately. A colour-matched ceramic Free Flow or Up&Down drain keeps the look all-ceramic, and the round siphon (chrome or matt black) stays neat under countertop basins. See which waste to choose.

Finishes

• Bianco: classic glossy white.
• Colore: matt colours (White, Black, Grey, Rose, Green Alpi, Coffee, Sand, Laguna, Zenzero, Malva).
• I Lucidi: glossy colours new for 2026 (Pino, Miele, Tabasco, Mirto).
• Materia: marble-effect ceramic (Carrara, Marquinia), new for 2026, available on the countertop basins and the framework.
