PLATEA and EQUILIBRIUM are Alice Ceramica's two newest washbasin ranges. PLATEA is a wide countertop basin with a gently raised edge around the bowl, which creates a double depth: part worktop, part basin. EQUILIBRIUM is a compact round basin that can sit on a counter or on its own ceramic column. They suit different bathrooms, so this guide covers both, with the measurements from Alice Ceramica's technical sheets.
According to the Alice Ceramica technical sheets every PLATEA basin is 46 cm deep and 15 cm high, for countertop installation.
See our countertop basin guide for worktop height and tap choice.
Each basin can sit on a worktop or on a ceramic column: the wall column when the waste goes into the wall, or the freestanding column when it goes into the floor. Our freestanding washbasin guide explains how to plan the plumbing.
Tap, drain and siphon are sold separately for both ranges. A colour-matched ceramic Free Flow or Up&Down drain and the round siphon in chrome or matt black complete the basin. See which waste to choose.
All ceramics have Alice Ceramica's antibacterial glaze enriched with silver, titanium and zinc ions. Colours on screen are indicative: ask us for a physical sample if you need an exact match, and read our guide to coloured and matt sanitaryware.
Glossy white (Bianco) is in stock, ready to ship; colours and other finishes are made to order in Civita Castellana and dispatched 2–3 weeks after your order is confirmed. Technical drawings for each code are available on request, and trade customers with an EU VAT number get 40% off. See the whole PLATEA collection or the EQUILIBRIUM collection.
