HIDE: how to plan a bathroom with iconic shapes

HIDE is Alice Ceramica's collection of iconic shapes: decisive curves and generous support surfaces, designed for everyday function with a rational look. It covers WCs and bidets in two shapes (Round and Square), each wall-hung or back-to-wall, a close-coupled ceramic cistern, and a family of washbasins from a 40 cm round bowl to a 120 cm wall-hung top. This guide explains how the pieces fit together, with the measurements from Alice Ceramica's technical sheets.

The short answer

• For a modern, easy-to-clean bathroom: wall-hung WC and bidet with a countertop or wall-hung basin.
• For a renovation without an in-wall frame: the back-to-wall WC with the HIDE close-coupled cistern, and the matching back-to-wall bidet.
• Round or Square? Round is 57 × 37 cm with softer lines; Square is a little more compact at 55 × 35 cm. Choose one shape and keep it for WC, bidet and seat.

Choosing the WC and bidet

Every HIDE WC has a matching bidet with the same footprint. Sizes below are from the Alice Ceramica technical sheets (depth × width × height).

• Wall-hung WC Round (31170101) and bidet Round (31180101): 57 × 37 cm.
• Wall-hung WC Square (31210101) and bidet Square (31220101): 55 × 35 cm.
• Back-to-wall WC Round (31150101) and bidet Round (31160101): 57 × 37 × 42 cm.
• Back-to-wall WC Square (31190101) and bidet Square (31200101): 55 × 35 × 42 cm.

Wall-hung pieces need an in-wall frame (with a concealed cistern for the WC) and the FIX10 fixing kit. Back-to-wall pieces are fixed with the FIX05F floor kit. Each WC needs the HIDE soft-close seat in its own shape: the HIDE Round seat or the HIDE Square seat, both with quick-release hinges and in the same colours as the ceramics. The HIDE cistern

The HIDE close-coupled ceramic cistern (26900101) sits on the back-to-wall WC and comes in the same finishes as the bowl. It works with the Geberit dual-flush mechanism, which is sold separately. For the pros and cons of each option see concealed vs exposed cisterns.

Choosing the washbasin

Sizes are from the technical sheets (width × depth × height).

Countertop, sitting on a vanity top or shelf:

• 60 × 37: 60 × 37 × 12 cm
• 65 × 40: 65 × 40 × 12 cm
• 85 × 37: 85 × 37 × 12 cm
• Stadium: 65 × 35 × 12 cm
• Circle: Ø 40 × 12 cm

The 60 × 37, 65 × 40 and 85 × 37 come with one tap hole or without, for a wall-mounted tap.

Wall-hung or countertop: the 45 cm deep range, all 13.5 cm high, in 50 × 35, 60 × 45, 80 × 45, 100 × 45 and 120 × 45 cm. Choose the configuration when ordering: the wall-hung version has an unfinished back, the countertop version a finished one. Tap, drain and siphon are sold separately. A colour-matched ceramic Free Flow or Up&Down drain keeps the look all-ceramic, and the round siphon comes in chrome or matt black. See which waste to choose.

Finishes

• Bianco: classic glossy white.
• Colore: matt colours, from White Matt and Anthracite to Sand, Rose and Green Alpi.
• I Lucidi: glossy colours new for 2026 (Pino, Miele, Tabasco, Mirto).
• Many basins also come in Bi-Color and marble-effect (Materia) finishes; the options on each product page show what is available.
