UNICA: how to plan a minimal Italian bathroom

UNICA is Alice Ceramica's minimal collection: delicate, light shapes with essential lines, designed to suit any style of bathroom. It covers wall-hung WCs and bidets in four depths (including two rimless Aliflush models), a back-to-wall pair and nine countertop washbasins, from compact 37 cm bowls to tall 30 cm sculptural pieces, all in the full Alice colour palette. The short answer

• For a modern, easy-to-clean bathroom: wall-hung WC and bidet (the rimless 47 and 52 WCs are quicker to clean) with a countertop basin.
• For a renovation without an in-wall frame: the back-to-wall WC and bidet.
• For a small bathroom: the compact 47 cm wall-hung pair and the 37 × 37 or 45 × 31 basin.

Choosing the WC and bidet

Every UNICA WC has a matching bidet with the same footprint. Sizes below are from the Alice Ceramica technical sheets (depth × width × height).

• Wall-hung WC 47 (32247101) and bidet 47 (32247201): 47 × 35 cm, the most compact size. The WC is rimless (Aliflush).
• Wall-hung WC 50 (32220101) and bidet 50 (32230101): 50 × 35 cm. The WC is also sold as a kit with seat and fixings at 20% off.
• Wall-hung WC 52 (32254101) and bidet 52 (32253101): 52 × 35 cm. The WC is rimless (Aliflush).
• Wall-hung WC 55 (32240101) and bidet 55 (32250101): 55 × 35 cm, the most generous projection.
• Back-to-wall WC (32200101) and bidet (32210101): 54 × 35 × 42 cm.

Wall-hung pieces need an in-wall frame (with a concealed cistern for the WC) and the FIX10 fixing kit; back-to-wall pieces are fixed with the FIX05F floor kit. Every WC needs the UNICA / FORM soft-close seat, which comes in the same colours as the ceramics. Not sure which installation suits you? Choosing the washbasin

All UNICA basins are countertop basins, sitting on a vanity top, shelf or console. Sizes are from the technical sheets (width × depth × height).

Low bowls, for everyday vanities:

• 37 × 37: 37 × 37 cm
• 45 × 31: 45 × 31 × 16 cm
• 50 × 37: 50 × 37 × 16.5 cm
• 55 × 35: 55 × 35 cm
• 70 × 39: 70 × 38.5 × 18 cm, the largest bowl
• Round 40: Ø 40 × 20 cm

Tall bowls, 30 cm high, for a sculptural statement: Round 50 (Ø 50 × 30 cm), Square (40 × 40 × 30 cm) and Rectangular (50 × 40 × 30 cm). Pair them with a tall-body or wall-mounted tap. See our countertop basin guide.

Tap, drain and siphon are sold separately. A colour-matched ceramic Free Flow or Up&Down drain keeps the look all-ceramic, and the round siphon comes in chrome or matt black. See which waste to choose.

Finishes

• Bianco: classic glossy white.
• Colore: matt colours, from White Matt and Black Matt to Sand, Rose and Green Alpi.
• I Lucidi: glossy colours new for 2026 (Pino, Miele, Tabasco, Mirto).
