International orders – UK & rest of world

For delivery addresses in the United Kingdom and outside Europe, we sell Ex Works (EXW, Incoterms® 2020). You buy at our website prices and arrange transport with your own courier or freight forwarder, who collects the goods from Alice Ceramica's warehouse in Italy. If you would rather we organise delivery, you can ask us for a quote.

How it works

1. Place your order and choose Ex Works – collection by your own courier at checkout. You pay for your order at checkout.
2. Production. Each piece is made to order: allow 2–3 weeks for ceramics and 4 weeks for MATH INOX taps and showers. As soon as your order is packed we send you the packed weights, dimensions and number of parcels or pallets, so your courier can quote and book.
3. Send us your collection details by replying to your order email: a prepaid shipping label or your forwarder's booking confirmation, the courier's name and contact, the planned collection date, and confirmation that your forwarder will file the export declaration.
4. Release of goods. We hold your payment and keep your goods at the warehouse until we have received the label and all the information above. Once everything is complete, we confirm the collection slot and release the goods to your courier.
5. After collection, ask your forwarder to send us the export declaration reference (MRN) with the exit confirmation once the goods have left the EU.

Taxes, duties and customs

We do not act as importer and do not collect import duties or taxes for destinations outside the EU. Customs clearance, import duties, import VAT and any other charges in the destination country are the buyer's responsibility.

Export sales are invoiced without EU VAT only when we receive proof of export: the export declaration (MRN) with exit confirmation, normally filed by your forwarder. If we do not receive this proof, the sale is treated as an EU sale and French VAT at 20% will be invoiced.

Buying from the UK? Our products are made in Italy. On request we add an EU origin statement to your invoice, which can allow import into the UK at 0% duty under the EU–UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement.

Packing, risk and collection

• Goods are packed ready for export: courier parcels for smaller items, a pallet for larger pieces.
• Risk passes to you when the goods are handed over to your courier at the warehouse. Please make sure your courier checks the goods and notes any visible damage on the collection document before signing.

Prefer us to arrange delivery?

Write to support@italianbathrooms.it with your delivery address and the products you are interested in. We will send you a quote and, if you accept, an order with the delivery cost included that you can pay online. Import duties and taxes may still be charged on arrival.
