FORM: how to plan a modern Italian bathroom

FORM is Alice Ceramica's soft-geometry collection: sinuous lines, a distinctive "suspended" effect at the base and a shape designed to be easy to clean. It is one of the widest Alice ranges, with wall-hung and back-to-wall WCs and bidets in three sizes, more than a dozen washbasins, a urinal and 3 cm ceramic shower trays, all in the full Alice colour palette. This guide explains how the pieces fit together, with the measurements from Alice Ceramica's technical sheets.

The short answer

• For a modern, easy-to-clean bathroom: wall-hung WC and bidet with a countertop basin.
• For a renovation without an in-wall frame: the back-to-wall WC and bidet, in standard, comfort-height (H50) or compact (50 cm deep) versions.
• For a small bathroom: the 50 cm deep pieces and a semi-inset or small round basin.

Choosing the WC and bidet

Every FORM WC has a matching bidet with the same footprint. Sizes below are from the Alice Ceramica technical sheets (depth × width × height).

• Wall-hung WC (22300101) and bidet (22310101): 50 × 35 cm. They need an in-wall frame (with a concealed cistern for the WC) and the FIX10 fixing kit.
• Back-to-wall WC (22240101) and bidet (22250101): 54 × 35 × 42 cm.
• Back-to-wall WC H50 (22270101) and bidet H50 (22280101): 54 × 35 × 50 cm. The 50 cm comfort height is easier for taller and older users.
• WC FORM 50 (22245101) and bidet FORM 50 (22255101): 50 × 35 × 42 cm, the compact choice for tight spaces.

All back-to-wall pieces are fixed with the FIX05F floor kit. Every WC needs the UNICA / FORM soft-close seat, which comes in the same colours as the ceramics. Not sure which installation suits you? Read wall-hung vs floor-standing toilets.

Choosing the washbasin

FORM basins come in three installation types. Sizes are from the technical sheets (width × depth × height).

Countertop, sitting on a vanity top or shelf:

• 65 × 40: 65 × 40 × 12 cm
• 60 × 35: 60 × 35 × 12 cm
• 60 × 35 H15 oval: 60 × 35 × 15 cm
• 60 × 37 H15 rectangular: 60 × 37 × 15 cm
• 45 round: Ø 45 × 12 cm, and 37 H15 round: Ø 37 × 15 cm
• With one tap hole, for a deck-mounted tap: 60 × 45 PLAN (60 × 45 × 12 cm), 60 × 45 PLAN oval (60 × 45 × 12 cm) and 45 PLAN (Ø 45 × 12 cm)

Semi-inset, half built into the countertop: 65 × 40 (65 × 40 × 12 cm), 60 × 35 (60 × 35 × 12 cm) and Ø 40 (Ø 40 × 12 cm). See inset, semi-inset and undermount basins.

Wall-hung: the 68 × 45 (68 × 45 × 15.5 cm), with one tap hole or without, for a wall-mounted tap.

Tap, drain and siphon are sold separately. A colour-matched ceramic Free Flow or Up&Down drain keeps the look all-ceramic, and the round siphon comes in chrome or matt black. See which waste to choose.

Urinal

The FORM wall-hung urinal (22260101) is a wall-hung urinal with the same soft FORM lines, available in glossy white and colours. Add the FORM urinal flushing mechanism, which is sold separately.

Shower trays and bath

FORM ceramic shower trays are only 3 cm thick and can be laid flush with the floor or raised on a screed. Sizes: 70 × 100, 70 × 120, 70 × 140, 80 × 100, 80 × 120, 80 × 140 and 80 × 160 cm, also in textured Materico white. The drain is not included. Read our ceramic shower tray guide. To complete the look there is also a FORM freestanding bath in glossy white.

Finishes

• Bianco: classic glossy white.
• Colore: matt colours, from White Matt and Anthracite to Sand, Rose and Green Alpi.
• I Lucidi: glossy colours new for 2026 (Pino, Miele, Tabasco, Mirto).
• Many basins also come in Bi-Color and marble-effect finishes; the options on each product page show what is available.

All FORM ceramic has an antibacterial glaze enriched with silver, titanium and zinc ions. Choosing a colour? Read coloured and matt sanitaryware.
